Grand Sierra does a great job of spreading games for poker players, amongst its other offerings. Their poker room has its own buffet for players, free. Its comp rate is $2 per hour of play, which is twice what you’d find many other places. The daily tournaments have extra game variety: you can request specific games. And the Heartland Poker Tour is held here, a televised annual event.
Other gaming is appealing too. Their slots selection is good, from 941 total machines. They offer a non-smoking slots area with 125 games. Table gaming includes keno, blackjack, roulette, baccarat, craps, Let It Ride Stud Poker, Three-Card Poker, Pai Gow Poker, Pai Gow tiles. There’s a William Hill race and sports book.
Visitors should be aware that this is a rather well-stocked resort, with plenty of entertainment options. Nighttime entertainment examples would be comedy shows by headliners like Amy Schumer, World Fighting Championships, MMA events, and other musical artists, all in the Summit Pavilion. There are numerous cocktail lounges and a nightclub. Families will appreciate their 50-lane Bowling Center, the Grand Sierra Cinema, Funquest Video Arcade, golf driving range, indoor golf, and their amusement park, Grand Adventure Land, which has features from go-kart rides and miniature golf, to hang-gliding and skygliding from their 180-foot-high tower.
