Boomtown does a fine job all around, offering many of the most popular features everyone looks for in a casino resort serving families. The building is made to look like a huge old-fashioned mining rig. This hotel holds 318 rooms which are big, attractive and luxurious. The overall features of the casino, dining and other entertainment — including family-oriented rides and arcade — means you don’t need to go elsewhere. Makes for an excellent vacation spot.
The Poker room is open from Friday through Monday, and it spreads games of Texas Hold’em, Seven Card Stud, Omaha. The gaming floor in the rest of the casino has 600 slots of both reel and video type, and table games including blackjack, craps, roulette, Pai Gow Poker, and Three Card Poker.
Expect big famous names in their concert series. Their smaller music venue is the Guitar Bar, with entertainment daily. Fun Center has rides for kids, an arcade and minigolf. With a daily pass most rides or all are unlimited.
There’s a KOA RV park next to Boomtown, with over 200 spaces, full hookups, laundromat, showers, picnic area, and free wifi.
